Four habits that protect what you store
A well-kept cryocan holds its temperature for years. These checks take minutes.
Check the level
Measure the liquid level with a dipstick on a fixed day each week, and book a refill well before it runs low.
Watch for frost
Frost or condensation on the outside of the body means the vacuum insulation may be failing. Move the samples and call us.
Keep the lid loose
The neck plug must let gas escape. Never tape or seal it.
Stand it somewhere safe
Upright, on a level floor, in a ventilated room, away from heat and direct sun.
